How GO handles customer, order, location, support, device, and security information across the marketplace.
Information We Collect
GO may collect account details, contact information, saved addresses, location coordinates when permission is granted, orders, payments status, support messages, device and security data, and business information needed to operate the marketplace.
How We Use Information
We use information to create and secure accounts, show eligible businesses, process orders, support delivery or pickup, prevent abuse, provide support, calculate platform analytics, comply with law, and improve GO.
Email and Phone Information
Email and phone information is used for account security, confirmations, password recovery, important service notices, support, and communications the customer has explicitly chosen.
Payment Information
GO records payment method and transaction status needed for orders, refunds, reconciliation, fraud prevention, and legal accounting. Card credentials will be handled by approved payment providers and should not be stored by GO.
Orders and Delivery Information
Order items, special requests, delivery instructions, selected addresses, pickup branches, status history, and restaurant communications are processed to fulfill and support each order.
Location and Device Data
Location permission is optional. When granted, GO may use current location to suggest nearby saved addresses and businesses serving that area. Device, network, and usage data may be used for reliability and security.
Marketing and Communications
Offers and newsletter messages require separate opt-in consent. Customers may withdraw either preference in Account Info. Essential security and service messages are not marketing.
Sharing and Service Providers
GO does not sell personal information. Necessary information may be shared with the business fulfilling an order and with infrastructure, email, security, mapping, support, analytics, and payment providers under appropriate controls.
Account Deletion
Customers may start account deletion from Account Info. GO will verify the request and handle eligible data according to the approved deletion policy while retaining records required for active orders, refunds, disputes, fraud prevention, accounting, audit, or law.
Cookies, Caching, and Analytics
GO web services may use essential cookies, session storage, caching, and limited operational analytics for sign-in, security, performance, and reliability.
Data Protection and Security
GO uses access controls, password hashing, session invalidation, audit logging, rate limiting, encryption in transit, restricted secrets, and infrastructure protections. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and International Processing
Information is retained only as needed for the stated purposes, active services, security, disputes, accounting, audit, and legal obligations. Some approved service providers may process data outside Kuwait under appropriate safeguards.
Policy Updates
GO may update this policy as the platform, providers, countries, or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will be shown in the app.
