GO information
Account Deletion
The secure process for requesting account deletion, the seven-day cancellation period, and the records GO may need to retain.
Requesting Account Deletion
Open Account Info in the GO app and choose Delete Account. GO requires the account password, the deletion acknowledgement, and a valid two-factor authentication code when two-factor authentication is enabled.
Seven-Day Cancellation Period
A seven-day countdown starts after a valid request. Account access is restricted during this period, and the GO app shows the remaining time. The request is finalized after the countdown unless it is cancelled first.
Cancelling a Deletion Request
The customer may cancel the request in the GO app before the countdown ends. Authorized GO staff may also assist with cancellation after appropriate identity and authorization checks.
What Happens When the Countdown Ends
GO permanently closes access to the customer account and invalidates its active sessions. Data connected to the account is then handled according to the retention rules described in the Privacy Policy.
Information That May Be Retained
GO may retain records required for active or historical orders, refunds, disputes, fraud prevention, security, accounting, audit, enforcement, or law. Retained information remains access-controlled and is not kept for unrelated use.
Orders, Refunds, and Support Matters
Account deletion does not remove obligations or records connected to an order, refund, charge, dispute, or support case that still requires resolution. GO may retain the minimum information needed to complete or document that matter.
If You Cannot Access the GO App
Email [email protected] from the address associated with the account. GO will require sufficient identity verification before acting on an account-deletion request.
Security Reminder
GO support will not ask for your password or one-time verification code by email. Do not send credentials, payment-card details, or authentication codes in an account-deletion message.
